Ican Harem
Ican Harem is an artist based in Bali whose work explores subcultural phenomena through diverse mediums such as music, fashion, and performance.
A key figure of Indonesia’s contemporary pop culture scene, he started his own fashion movement, the eponymously named Harem, which is centred on sustainable experimentation. As an artist, Harem designs and produces pieces for local and international bands and brands. His artworks have been featured in local and international magazines and online platforms. Currently, Harem is developing his musical practice as part of the duo Gabber Modus Operandi.
